In Vitro Unplugged was designed by Philippe Starck as a smaller, portable version of the In Vitro series, maintaining the same refined aesthetic while offering greater flexibility. Inspired by the idea of a contemporary lantern, it features an elegant, minimal frame that creates the illusion of an empty glass volume illuminated from within. The design captures Philippe Starck’s signature blend of minimalism and innovation, bringing a poetic yet highly functional light source to outdoor environments.
