La Plus Belle

Wall-mounted mirror with integrated lighting emitting diffused light. Aluminium frame housing high colour rendering LED light sources with an optical opal silicone diffuser. Extra-clear glass mirror with rear safety and aesthetic film, fixed to the frame by a polycarbonate glazing bead. Wall installation via hook with dual magnet fixing device. Powered via wall-mounted power supply unit or IEC power cord and connector socket. Optical sensor control on the mirror or remote, PUSH or DALI dimming for 10–100% light intensity adjustment.

Designed by Philippe Starck, La Plus Belle transforms a classic mirror into a luminous object. Defined by an elliptical geometry, it frames the reflection with light, ensuring a faithful rendering and visual purity. Inspired by the fairy-tale mirror of Snow White, Starck wryly suggests that even the question of who is the fairest of them all cannot be answered without good lighting.
