Floor lamp emitting indirect light. A single exposed bulb with reflector sits on a slender painted iron stem, supported by a tripod base in painted galvanised metal. LED light bulb with reflector and dimmer included.

Designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1954, Luminator is an exercise in functional minimalism and one of their earliest lighting designs. A timeless modernist icon, Luminator remains a cornerstone of Flos design history. It embodies their philosophy of stripping away the unnecessary to focus purely on light, structure and purpose, showcasing a radical reductionist approach and industrial aesthetic. Originally released in cool anthracite, it was updated with a bold new palette of striking pop colours in 2022.
