Superarchimoon outdoor Green wall
Designed by Philippe Starck, 2000
Floor lamp emitting direct and diffused light. External diffuser in pleated fabric with internal diffuser in acid-etched, hand-blown glass. Diffuser support in sand-cast aluminium. Structure composed of painted tubular aluminium arms and tie rods, stainless steel spring and die-cast aluminium joints. Sand-cast aluminium base with six lead counterweights and spun aluminium base cover. Fabric-covered power cord with electronic dimmer for 0–100% light adjustment.
Designed by Philippe Starck, Superarchimoon is an exaggerated, monumental evolution of the iconic Archimoon. Oversized yet precise, it plays with scale and perception, transforming a functional object into a powerful architectural statement. Its dramatic silhouette and complex structure create a commanding presence, pushing boundaries and provoking with Starck’s typical subversive approach.
