Suspension lamp emitting direct and reflected light. The modular structure comprises 20 pressed and polished aluminium triangles, supporting 60 exposed clear Globolux bulbs. Steel ceiling fitting and rose.

Taraxacum 88 is a striking, sculptural pendant lamp designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1988. Conceived as a contemporary chandelier, it evolves from the original Taraxacum with a bold, industrial character, replacing the Cocoon surface with exposed bulbs while still evoking the head of a dandelion. Designed for large communal spaces, it represents a radical departure from traditional pendant lamps and embodies Castiglioni’s fascination with technical innovation. A true design icon, Taraxacum 88 merges functionality, avant-garde aesthetics and Castiglioni’s signature wit.
