Spine by Vincent Van Duysen illuminates architects Mauricio Pezo and Sofia Von Ellrichshausen's Solo House. Part of an experimental architectural series of houses dotted across a natural park on the East of Spain, the house is conceived as a floating concrete platform with nods to Mediterranean architecture. Placed throughout the house's exterior, Spine enhances the architecture's dramatic language, highlighting its symmetry and precision.

SPINE PRO & ULTRA
The heart of Spine is made up of a series of interchangeable lenses to adapt to any type of lighting required. And together with the lenses, a complete set of accessories has been created that can provide a solution to the integral lighting of an outdoor project.
The Elliptical lens modulates the light to create tailored contrasts onto the building’s structure.
A medium light distribution provides functional accent while optimizing contrasts and shadows.
Wider light distribution is the best way to create smooth background lighting, which can be used to play with facades or simply to partially reveal volumes with a gentle light skin.
