Table lamp emitting diffused light. Fully transparent, injection-moulded PMMA body with opaline, injection-moulded polycarbonate internal diffuser and transparent or coloured external diffuser, finished using high-vacuum aluminisation.

Created by Philippe Starck, Miss K plays with contrast and perception. When switched off, its metallic outer shell appears opaque and reflective. Once illuminated, it reveals a glowing inner diffuser, resembling an X-ray of a classic table lamp. Starck is known for using materials in unexpected ways to shift our collective perception, and Miss K is no exception. It is a playful reinterpretation of tradition, inviting us to look beyond the surface and reconsider the objects we use every day.
