Set among the rolling hills of Rioja Alavesa, the new visitor centre at Bodegas Faustino redefines the traditional winery experience. Designed by Foster + Partners, the project represents a bold expansion, introducing a new architectural identity that seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings.

The vaulted, column-free structure introduces a new entrance and immersive visitor journey that connects vineyard, wine, nature and architecture in one continuous narrative. Green energy systems and an emphasis on biodiversity reflect the winery’s commitment to sustainable innovation.
Outdoor paths are softly illuminated by Perseo and A-Rise 290 by Flos Outdoor. Perseo’s sleek and minimal profile blends discreetly into the landscape, while A-Rise 290 casts soft light on the surrounding greenery and curved façade.

Inside, the curved timber surfaces are gently lit by the C1 wall fixture, an elegant design that blends functionality with material warmth. Its minimalist cylindrical form complements the architecture’s fluid lines.

The tasting and retail areas feature a trio of Flos Architectural solutions. The Light Shadow range delivers glare-free, precision lighting to celebrate the iconic Faustino label without distraction. C1 wall continues throughout the interior, adding rhythm and warmth to vertical surfaces. And the recessed Easy Kap provides general illumination while preserving the purity of the arched ceiling.
