Kevin Toukoumidis, a founder and principal at Los Angeles and Chicago-based architecture firm dSPACE Studio, wanted to create a modern home for himself and his partner that was both deeply respectful of its surroundings and reflected their lifestyle.

Toukoumidis chose Flos lighting for the project, with a particular focus on the Noctambule, which he considers a piece of art. Elsewhere, architectural lighting solutions Find Me and Dots contribute to the calm and understated mood of the house.

Dunelands is inextricably linked to its setting, which has been purposefully integrated with the house itself. This blending of indoors and out is enhanced by the choice of In-Vitro Unplugged and Landlord Soft as outdoor lighting solutions.
