Light meets material at Casa Manteco

In Montemurlo, at the heart of Tuscany’s historic textile district, Casa Manteco invites visitors to explore the company’s history, archives, and creative processes. Designed and Curated by Formafantasma, the exhibition and showroom create an evolving portrait of Manteco’s heritage and material culture.Throughout, Flos architectural lighting shapes the experience, responding to the different colours, textures, and stories within each space.

A spectrum of colour

In the Sala Tessuti, fabrics arranged in a sweeping chromatic sequence become the focal point beneath the distinctive circular ceiling. Find Me spotlights by Jorge Herrera follow its curved perimeter, their discreet presence directing attention towards the colours and textures below.

A flexible framework

The Galleria is organised as a non-linear journey through Manteco’s world. The Tracking Magnet responds with a lighting system that extends across the exposed ceiling, its graphic structure complementing the industrial character of the space while directing light precisely towards the exhibits.
