“Bellhop was born from the desire to design an extremely flexible lamp, a simple object able to accompany people through the different moments of the day. Its light creates a soft, intimate atmosphere; in fact, we have always imagined it as a sort of contemporary candle: a discreet presence that moves naturally through a space.

Today, that same sense of warmth and mobility extends beyond the home, enriched by a refined colour palette and designed to adapt easily to both indoor and outdoor environments.”

The new Bellhop Unplugged features an IP54 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water splashes while broadening its scope of use. The integrated dimmer allows users to adjust light intensity and choose between three colour temperatures, adapting the light to different moments and needs. Rechargeable via USB-C, it offers long battery life, further enhanced by its replaceable battery.

The evolution of a portable icon

Bellhop was originally designed in 2016 for the restaurant at London’s Design Museum, created to cast soft, diffused, non-glare light across tables. Its name references both the hotel porter and its distinctive bell-shaped silhouette. In 2018, it evolved into an industrial product distributed globally.

From 2020, the project expanded to include Bollard, Pole and Wall, an outdoor family for pathways and gardens with the same luminous identity. In 2021, Bellhop Floor introduced a more sculptural and tactile presence, followed by Wall Up, which directs light upward. In 2022, new finishes and monochromatic variations further reinforced the system’s versatility.
