Selected innovative lighting solutions illuminate the 'Ala Grande Nio' pavilion that houses the collection, in a sophisticated system that harmoniously blends balanced and uniform ambient lighting with direct but delicate light to illuminate the works on display.

In order to achieve a striking effect while simultaneously guaranteeing maximum protection for the artworks and visual comfort for visitors, Flos selected some of the most pioneering lighting systems and bodies from the Flos Architectural collection.

Track-mounted projectors from the UT Spot and UT PRO range were chosen in wall washer versions to illuminate the side walls and in super spot or rotosymmetric versions for a defined but delicate accent on the masterpieces on display. The cutting-edge LED technology employed by these projectors, combined with the use of custom accessories, allows optimum calibration of the light so as not to damage the exhibits.

In order to create the desired diffused light, Flos alternated the projectors with sophisticated linear modules from the In-finity 70 collection. This system creates a magical effect, illuminating the spaces with a soft yet effective light.

To emphasise the niches formed by the blind windows, Flos traced thin lines of light with the revolutionary Micro Running Magnet system, an iconic design that integrates thin LED light strips and small light fixtures via a simple magnetic coupling, used here with an asymmetrical light stripe.
